Local Attractions

The Machynlleth area is not short of places to visit and things to do.This page gives you the opportunity to check out what you might fancy doing while in the area.

Virtually every outdoor activity is possible in the Machynlleth area and it was only a few weeks before this page was written that a certain member of staff was seen downhill skiing within view of the car-park! There are, however, no current plans to develop Machynlleth as a ski-resort - the weather's just too warm as a rule....

You're not stuck for indoor activities either with a popular leisure centre, galleries and shops and an auditorium all within 5 minutes easy walk of the White Lion.
